A Jefferson County native and lifelong West Virginian, Mr. Strider graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Marshall University in 2011.  He attended the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law before graduating with his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2014, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Prior to to coming to work at Miller & Amos, Mr. Strider served as a Law Clerk for the Hon. Christopher C. Wilkes, Chief Judge of the West Virginia 23rd Judicial Circuit and the West Virginia Business Division.  During his time at the West Virginia University College of Law, he held internships with the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Hon. David J. Joel, of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and worked as a student clinician with the WVU Land Use & Sustainable Development Law Clinic.  Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Strider worked as a field organizer on multiple West Virginia statewide election campaigns, and held an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Strider represents West Virginia and Kentucky businesses in matters of employment law and civil defense litigation.
